    Our amazing and dedicated team is looking for an impassioned analyst to join us in changing lives, one behavior at a time!

    We use the most current research to guide our programming decisions. BCBAs at adaptABILITY engage in a host of activities, including direct therapy, supervision and training, parent training, outreach and collaboration, and instructional design.


    Requirements


    • Creation, training and implementation of specified behavior reduction plans with clients that display challenging behavior that is sensitive to clients' cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs

    • Teaching parents how to utilize ABA strategies in their everyday life

    • Operate within time, financial, and other resource constraints

    • Remaining abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices

    • Working with parents to learn skills needed for effective generalization in the home

    • Advocating for clients in a variety of settings

    • Conducting direct therapy as needed

    • Maintaining professional relationships and building rapport across clients, families, and staff

    • Analyzing data taken by therapy teams, making informed treatment decisions, and writing detailed treatment notes at the end of each session that meet the standard of adaptABILITY as well as external funding sources

    • Providing 1:1 training sessions with new hire therapists in which concepts and techniques are modeled, resulting performance is evaluated, and effective feedback is given

    • Corresponding with the Clinical Director on a weekly basis to discuss clients on caseload and present data on progress. Submitting treatment and intervention plan reports to the Clinical Director for feedback.

    • Conducting initial consultations in which behavioral/treatment histories, client needs, potential applications of ABA-based interventions, and funding coordination are discussed

    • Conducting a wide variety of behavioral assessments which include, but are not limited to: the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, Vineland-3, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Functional Analyzes

    • Compiling, analyzing, and presenting both assessment reports and treatment plans in a manner that is easily understood by clients, families, funding providers, and other disability services providers

    • Reviewing assessment results and treatment plans with parents, obtaining suggestions for any potential alterations, and receiving consent before implementation

    • Working with local professionals to secure environmental support for clients

    • Adhering to the professional code of conduct and ethical guidelines


    The Successful Applicant

    • is an active BCBA or QBA

    • has familiarity with structured and natural teaching strategies

    • has familiarity with Practical Functional Assessment/Skills-Based Treatment

    • has familiarity with various assessments (eg, VB-MAPP, Vineland)

    • has experience creating individualized treatment plans with an emphasis on skill acquisition

    • has experience analyzing problem behavior and creating individualized intervention plans to reduce problem behavior

    • maintains a commitment to clinical excellence and professional development

    • encompasses the ability to empower and coach parents and caregivers

    • maintains alignment with adaptABILITY's values


    • has prior supervision and training of RBTs preferred

    • has experience in a clinical environment

    Requirements


    • Providing direct client care in one-on-one and group settings

    • Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols

    • Collecting and recording data based on client behavior

    • Communicating with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress

    • Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition

    • Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts in the preparation of client materials

    • Adhering to the professional code of conduct and ethical guidelines


    Qualifications

    • Active BCBA or QABA certification preferred

    • Commitment to clinical excellence and professional development

    • Ability to empower and coach parents and caregivers

    • Alignment with adaptABILITY's core values

    • Experience in a clinical environment is preferred


    The Successful Applicant

    • Certification by the BACB or IBAO

    • A minimum of a high school diploma

    • A minimum of one year experience working with individuals who have autism spectrum disorders (or other developmental delay) and their families

    • Knowledge of early childhood and autism

    • Ability to receive feedback and ongoing training
